How to charge money for sign-ups

Just describe the prices in chat and the form handles the rest.

Steps

1. In the builder chat, say what costs what (for example, "$80 for the 5-class pack, or $20 for a single class").
2. The form shows the options and a running total; the server always recomputes the real charge from the catalog, so prices can't be tampered with.

There are two ways to get paid (see the two ways to get paid): paid at sign-up, where people pay on the form and it shows Paid by itself (cards through your own Stripe at Stripe's fee plus our 1%, or PayPal and Venmo through your own PayPal with no fee from us), or collect it yourself with your Venmo, Cash App, PayPal.me, Zeffy, Zelle or cash details, with no fees. If you've connected Stripe or PayPal, a new priced form starts on it. Otherwise choose in Setup → Get paid before you share the form (or Don't collect payment if you're settling up another way). A priced form with no choice stays closed to sign-ups (visitors see "Sign-ups aren't open yet"), so no one submits a form that couldn't take their payment. Every payment is one-time, made at sign-up. There is no autopay, no saved card and no recurring billing, so for a term or a series, price it as one fee or offer each class or week as its own option.
