I paid on a sign-up form and want a refund

The organizer has your payment and refunds it. Reply to your confirmation email to reach them. If they don't answer, contact your card company.

Updated 2026-10-19

JupiterSignup makes the form. The organizer who made it (the studio, coach, school or club) gets your money: a card payment goes straight into their own Stripe account, a PayPal payment into their PayPal, and Venmo, Zelle or cash goes to them directly. We never hold it, so the refund has to come from them. Here's the fastest way to get it.

Reach the organizer

  1. Find your confirmation email. Its subject starts You're signed up (or You're on the waitlist), and it says who you paid.
  2. Reply to it. Your reply goes straight to the organizer's own email, not to us.
  3. Say what you paid, for which date, and what you'd like: a refund, a credit or another date.

If the form lets you change your sign-up, the View, change or cancel your sign-up link in that email also has an Email the organizer button.

If they don't answer

  • Paid by card: call the number on the back of your card, or start a dispute in your card's app. A cancelled event is a common reason, and card companies handle it every day. Keep your confirmation email: it shows what you paid, when and for what. The charge on your statement carries the organizer's name, not ours.
  • Paid by PayPal: open a dispute in your PayPal account.
  • Paid by Venmo, Zelle, Cash App or cash: that money went person to person, so the organizer is the one to ask. Check that app's help pages for what it can do.

Still stuck?

Write to us with the form's name and the email you signed up with. We can't refund a payment we never had, but we will pass your message to the organizer.

Common questions

Did JupiterSignup take my money? No. Your payment went to the organizer. On a card payment, the organizer pays us a small fee out of what they receive; you paid the price on the form and nothing more.

Can JupiterSignup refund me? No, we never hold the money, so only the organizer (or your card company, through a dispute) can send it back.

Tried the organizer and still stuck? Write to us and we'll pass it on.
