How do I get paid? The two ways

Paid at sign-up through your own Stripe or PayPal, marked Paid by itself, or collect it yourself by Venmo or Zelle with no fees.

Updated 2026-10-19

There are two ways to get paid. Both send the money straight to you, never through us.

1. Paid at sign-up

People pay on the form to finish signing up, so nobody is in until they've paid (their spot is held for about an hour while they pay, then let go). It's confirmed automatically: the sign-up shows Paid in Results and their confirmation says Paid.

  • Cards through Stripe: cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where the person's device offers them, and any other way to pay you've turned on in your Stripe account, into your own Stripe account. Stripe's fee, plus our flat 1% on all of it.
  • PayPal and Venmo: their PayPal account, a card, or Venmo where PayPal offers it, into your own PayPal account. PayPal's fee; no fee from us.

2. Collect it yourself

Add your Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal.me link, Zeffy or cash details once. People sign up first, then see one-tap pay buttons on their confirmation page and in their confirmation email. No fees. The catch: we can't see that money, so you check and mark who paid in Results.

Which one?

Paid at sign-up when spots are limited or you don't want to chase anyone. Collect it yourself when your people already pay you that way and you'd rather skip fees and keep a list.

If you've connected Stripe or PayPal, a new form with prices starts on it, and you can change any form in Setup → Get paid. A form can also skip payment altogether (Don't collect payment) when it's free or you settle up another way. Set things up once on the Payments page, see where to set up getting paid.
