How the cost-per-person split works
Enter the total cost and how many people are splitting it, and the calculator divides it evenly so everyone pays a fair share. Turn on Add payment fees and it grosses each share up, so the amount you actually receive after card fees still lands on your target. Example: a $500 group dinner split across 20 people is $25 each; cover 2.9% plus $0.30 in fees and each person pays about $26.10, so you still net $500. It is handy for group trips, team meals, shared rentals, class supplies, and club dues. Once you know the per-person price, build a signup form at that amount and collect from everyone with one link.
