How to take a deposit online

To take a deposit online, make the deposit the price charged at sign-up. Jupiter Signup collects it through your Stripe account and the spot counts against your capacity. It does not track or bill the remaining balance, so you collect the rest yourself before the start date.
Steps
- 1 Price the option at the deposit amount Tell the builder the deposit is what people pay now, for example "a $50 deposit to hold a spot in the $275 camp week". Say the full price and the balance date in the description so families know what is still owed.
- 2 Hold the spot on the deposit Give the option a capacity. Each paid deposit takes one spot, and the form marks the option sold out when the spots are gone.
- 3 Collect the balance yourself The results view shows who paid the deposit. Jupiter Signup does not track or bill the balance, so collect the remainder your usual way, or share a second form for the balance before the start date.
