What email people get after they sign up

Everyone who gives an email gets a confirmation automatically: what they signed up for, paid or how to pay you, and a calendar link.

Updated 2026-10-19

If your form asks for an email, each person gets a confirmation as soon as they sign up. There is nothing to turn on.

  • What they signed up for, with dates, times and the time zone.
  • The total, and either Paid or how to pay you (your Venmo, Zelle or other handles from your payment settings). A card payment names who it went to: your business name from your Stripe account.
  • A link to add it to their calendar, and a link back to their sign-up.
  • It comes from your form's name ("Saturday Pottery via JupiterSignup"), and replies go to you, not to us. The email says so, and that refunds come from you, so people with a question about their payment write to you first.

On a form that takes cards or PayPal, the confirmation goes once the payment clears, and Stripe or PayPal also sends its own receipt. On the thank-you page they can send a copy to someone else, like the other parent.

No email question, no automatic email: they can still type an address on the thank-you page to get one.
